I love how the thumbnail is almost anti clickbait. This run never reaches hour 5 yet it is infinitley more cluttered

As a game dev this has given me inspiration for my own hud designs. Players don’t need to see the game anyway

The last 34 seconds is just DougDoug accidentally activating every nations sleeper agents all at once

I legitimately jumped when you showed the non-HUD to show what bowser needs to do at 15:00.

Seeing twitch chat spamming “DOUG YOU NEED TO CHARGE THE TELEPORTER” was the funniest part of the stream for me

Seeing Doug yell out "TAKE THE SHOT SIR" while looking at Banjo and Kazooie's happy faces is fucking murdering me oh my god

When it cut to the normal Odyssey HUD in the final room, it was like seeing Odyssey for the first time again

I need a mod for this game that takes that final amalgamate HUD, and layers a random element of it over the game every five minutes. The location of the elements changes depending on the difficulty you set (Doug was playing on Easy, so that's what Easy's HUD will look like).
Also, don't forget to charge the teleporter.

Technically, this is a world record. Has anyone else ever played this game?

The Addition of the Horse was probably the best part of this video, I love how you slowly added more things to it making it look ridiculous

I remember watching this one live and chat spent like 15 minutes arguing about what part of the RuneScape hud counted as a hud

Really love how it's both Thursday and monday at the same time and different dates as well, the gunicorn is so powerful it distorts space-time

I didn’t think we’d ever come to an age where we would be in collective agreement that “speedrunning is too easy”. Just a true testament to how skilled we’ve become as gamers💪🏼

3:22 Risk of Rain is so damn hard. Its seemingly impossible to beat the 1st world let alone find the world exit portal to begin with and the fact that each level is randomly generated doesn't help either.

Now I really want some way for this to be automated, so that it just adds a HUD element to OBS every [x] minutes. That could quickly get batshit in any game.

This would be a really interesting mod if you could make the additional HUDs actually reflect the gamestate in some way. Have the health bars actually show Mario's health, have the _RuneScape_ inventory show what moons and clothes you have, etc.
It would be utter hell to program, though.

That comparison is virtually apples:oranges. Completing the game with the increasing clutter on the screen w/o any practice is great lol

Every time Doug started reading the extremely long titles that chat came up with, I thought he was gonna suddenly start singing that one section from Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny

Ah, but you see, you’re playing Scout! Which means if it were you on the payload, it would be saying x2! Because the Scout has double the capture speed of other classes!

Now that I've seen this speedrun I can't go back to normal, non-HUD-filled speedruns.

youre not on easy mode, its eas difficulty, youre on medium mode and easy mdoe in risk of rain 2 is actually quite hard by itself, so this is actually a very hard challenge already

As much as i love this video, I really think there should be some type of HUI. I know it sounds like a bit of a stretch but i think it could really help!

I have an idea: You play against twitch chat and try to beat more mario levels than they can. But your controllers actions are switched every 30 seconds. So after 30 seconds the A button would move you to the left or something.

Need to say the moment when Doug almost ended the run then realized that he had to add yet another HUD element was the funniest thing I've seen in a while, that absolutely sent me.
