From Drifter to Dynamo: The Story of Plankton | Deep Look

  • تم نشره في 2015/03/ 3
  • Most plankton are tiny drifters, wandering in a vast ocean. But where wind and currents converge they become part of a grander story… an explosion of vitality that affects all life on Earth, including our own.

@DeepLook I need more plankton. Seriously, their evolutionary origin and history, physiology, their place of phylogeny are all topics I want more on! Also, I just searched youtube a bunch of different ways for other videos and there's basically nothing (other than Spongebob). Considering how incredibly important they are, I would think the subject to be a bit more explored.

If phytoplankton are the same as plants, they need oxygen to survive, the do produce more than they consume however. Also the temperatures on mars are generally well below freezing.
