I'm old enough to remember watching these when they were 1st on air.
    Loved them then, still do.

I've tried everything else, but does anyone from Britland remember the American crime drama on the wireless (remember that?) during the 50's? It also had that piece of music during the programme that after a portentous announcement would go 'Dun da dun dun---------------DUN!

If I wasn't looking, I would have thought it was Monty Wooley playing the part of the alien. Their voices and tone of voice is so much alike.

Such a good, classic story. The alien character, played by Francis Sullivan, has that 'Sidney Greenstreet' sort of voice and demeanor...though not with his jolly disposition...certainly in that genre of characters. Wonderfully wry about the whole matter :)

That was when television was worth watching. Today it's all junk. Good Bless the 50,s we had shows like Lux video Theater, Playhouse 90, and many great comedies. In those days you didn't know what to watch because they were so good. Today it's sex, drugs, and guns that's all you see. Many times I just shut the TV off, and go on my computer.
